Candy review: Strawberry and Cream flavoured Candy

Recently my friend gave me this cute little treat, so I decided that it might be nice to share it with all of you. It's a Strawberry and Cream flavoured Candy LOLLIPOP made by Alpenliebe. As you can see the package alone draws you in with the cute mountain scenery and storybook village set far off behind the lollipop. Not to mention the super cute strawberry with a face that's taking a splash in some cream.

Right away the first thing you will notice when you open the package is the sweet fruity fragrance of strawberry. It smells simply delicious.

Aside from that I noticed that on the package cover it looks as thought the cream is raised, or in other words drizzled over the top of the lollipop.(Giving it a more 3D effect). However this is not the case, upon taking it out of the package I found it to actually be marbled. Although very pretty it left me a bit unimpressed. I also saw that the bottom of the lollipop was kind of flat and didn't look as round as it did in the picture. (If you turn it side ways though it looks like a bouncy ball.)

The lollipop did out do it's self in the taste category for me though. Despite it smelling super sweet and of strawberries, it actually had quite a simple creamy taste. It was not over sweet like most, and tasted just barely sweetened. 

It's something that I, for one would buy.
